I have a TVR Griffith for sale

I had this car imported from Japan and drove it around for just a little bit. It has low miles and is in perfect running order. I bought this car in Japan for about 80000 dollars, I am trying to get rid of it right now for about 55,000 obo. If you want any pictures or have any questions ninjlao@gmail.com.
Im probably goin to get destroyed because this is my first post on this sn. but the truth is I forgot my other username on this site. I used to set up track days. that never was successful on this site. HAHA.

Did you actually manage to get it registered? How did you get it past customs? I'm actually looking for a Tuscan, but I will probably have to import it myself.

the similarities to my 280i are suprising!

"I really started paying attention to cars was when they came out with the Nissan Z, the first body. Then I seen the Cherokees, the old square ones, and I was like, “Wow, that’s cool.” Then I seen the Isuzu jeeps and I seen the Wranglers."

The easiest example is obviously to steal the vin plate from a 1977 TVR and register it using that. There are other ways. The point is, what's illegal is not necessarily impossible.

I saw a 65 TVR Griffith in Myrtle Beach. Looked much like these, except yellow. I think it was allowed as a vintage car and south carolina dmv probably is a bit more easy going. Good luck finding a buyer.

So you are saying that this car is legal? I suspect that this "gentleman" is hoping that someone without knowledge will purchase this car, only to find out later it is not legal. Read between the lines, look at the photo's, the plates are covered. I don't want to see someone hurt. Show me I am wrong and I will retract.

Well, someone certainly could bring it in as a track only car.

Yes they could, but that's not the point, the car is being sold under false pretenses.
