I would like to get black RAC Monolites but for the last year that I have checked they only have grey ones in stock . I think with orange car black wheels would look the best also all the brake dust is not that notisable . My previous race car had white Enkei wheels after 2 30 min secions the front ones would start turning black . I have always used Hawk brake pads .
If by the time im ready to track it Sector 111 doesnt have them in stock might go with TR Motorsports F1. Tires I bought Kumho v700 205/45/16 245/40/17 |

Finally got the front end sprayed .Some touchups are needed of course , but overal turned out good all the angles , lines look pretty even . Next step is to get spoiler mounting brackets , bolt everything on , make exhaust and rear difuser sounds easy enough .

As far as materials its fiberglass resin with cloth , long hair fiberglass bondo ,jelly , regular bondo , glaze .... thats why there are all diferent colors .
Here is the first look at the complete car at least for the most part . In one color its a completely diferent look .The only thing that I kinda dont like the headlights should have been about 1' further away from the edge, but.... . Nothing is bolted on so gaps are uneven . By the way decided to make roof for it . That will add to the more of a race car look . I realy didnt like the part that goes on top of roll bar it ads about 1" on top . I'll try to make roof that will extend over roll bar and end above engine cover .That way it will be one piece instead two . Will try to make it flush with top of roll bar so the back side of the roof should be 1"lower than stock . will see how it goes ......... Last edited by Dapcius : 01-15-2009 at 05:59 AM. |

so are you going to move the head lights in somemore? your comment made it sound hard to do! You can do ANYTHING with FIBERGLASS.

I can't get over your front clam! The head lights, the gills, and the change in the grill opening's shape -- they all look great! You're going to have the awesomest Elise in America!

I think everything but the headlights looks awesome...
That said, i think the headlights ruin the whole front of the car... ![]() But maybe your vision is greater than mine...
