Ralph,
What is the purpose of the stud on each side of the rear hoop, just above the door bars? Jeff

I was one of the first ones in 2007 to race a NA elise in T2 at the runoffs and got my ass kicked. But I did get some picture time in sports car for an ad for the runoffs. So I parked the car in 2008 and watched someone else do a bit better but kept going backwards during the race. This year as Jeff stated they finally put the SC version in the class but I still think its weighs too much. When I raced the elise in 07 I had to bolt 175 lbs in the car. Yeah thats fair. But the main problem with the car is, it can't take a hit at all. During the runoffs there is always some bumping and shoving and the elise, exige can't take it at all. You must make it to turn 1 first and never look back which is very hard to do. I wish you the best Jeff and if there is anything I can help with let me know. Just maybe if you have success I will have to bring mine back out. Later, Dennis

I was just looking at the pictures of the cage and noticecd one thing. It looks like the harness bar is too high. Have you put the seat in the car and made sure the bar is at the proper height? It may just be the way the pictures turned out. Have a fun and safe season. Please keep us updated on your progress.

We just had the car out for the first time this past weekend. Logged lots of data and we are crunching through it.
The stock track pack springs are way too soft but it is what we have to run per T2 Rules. We have a lot of other ways to test to deal with the soft springs. We logged oil pressure and it is downright scary without the Acusump. PSI dropped down to 18lbs in several spots on the track. Even with the Acusump PSI dropped to 28lbs. Seems quick transitions are hard for the stock pan to manage. Again T2 rules mandates we use the stock oil pan. Fuel slosh is also a big concern. We logged instant fuel level and LH turns kills fuel pick up. We also had a hard time meeting minimum sound. The track we were at has a very low and very strict policy for sound. Thanks to Fireball and his stock muffler we were able to continue testing. The driver did have a lot of fun with the car and it was the envy of the paddock. Graphics should be done this week. First race is in two weeks. Still lots of work to do. I will post more after the first race.
