I strapped the front the tow bar in the nose. The rear is suspension arms. I've had no trouble in the hundreds of dyno runs the car has seen. Its not a fragile as you might think.....

Finally got the front rotors drilled. Weight dropped from 9lbs 10oz to 8lbs 5 oz! Saved just 1lb 5 oz per rotor. Thus total saved is 5lbs 2oz total unsprung weight!

this may be a dumb question, but does drilling the rotors like that affect the rotors negatively at all? you took alot of material off those rotors

We'll see! The problem I had before is that in AutoX there is not enough continuous braking to heat up the rotors. This indicates too much mass. Now that I have lightened them by 15%, hopefully they will heat up appropriately and not too much.

Fred's Lotus has deviated so far from normal that the laws of physics no longer apply.
