So you just depress the lock and the door opens? That way you can eliminate the outside chrome lock button and asscciated hardware as well. NICE!

Would you please post a photo/explanation of how you did the trunk lid? I've been thinking about doing the same thing.

Thanks,

I 'll try to get a photo, but is is really brainless. I just put a pin in the left-front and right rear corners of the trunk cover. Yank the hinges and done.

So you just push down on the lock pin on the top of the door and the door opens, right?? Did you eliminate the outer chrome push buttons?

No need for a photo -- I get it. I was thinking about replacing the pin in the hinges with a pip pin or something ...

Thanks,

Joe

Honestly, it isn't loud at all. The radial muffler i.e. Turbo does a great job quieting the car. I ran the car with the stock FF turbo exhaust at Qualcomm and I was like 82dB vs. a 93db limit. I might have passed with the straight pipe. Don't try this without a turbo as it will be LOUD!!!

Casey, that exhaust looks nice, albeit a bit heavy.

Representing in Tucscon.....

The car felt fantastic! Notice Diane was less than 1 second off of me, which a a new record for her. Just so you guys know this car is a MONSTER to drive, so the fact that she even gets in it is more than most women and alot of men. I am very, very proud of her!!!!

The car looks great. The times speak for themselves
I would start checking suspension components for cracks
Pretty severe loading going on there...
