Nice!

When it is on the dyno you can look down the pipe and watch the turbine glow bright orange! However, turbo is gone tomorrow!

Maybe if your exhaust wasn't so restrictive the turbo wouldn't build up so much heat

Gone? Why? Bigger mo-betta turbo?

Front Penske's with stacked Hypercoil setup. Because the Lotus uses very long non-standard springs. This has stacked 4" long, 2" ID springs. Many different rates are available to be able to fine-tune the suspension. Only 2 oz heavier than single spring. Additionally a quicker steering rack has been fitted to help auto-x responsiveness.

In the second picture You see the custom lower ball joint that lowers the lower control arm. This has the effect of raising the front roll center which helps overall handling and turn in.

You are running a custom steering rack or the Nitron rack?

Here are 3 pictures on the wing. The wing plates on top are exchangeable for different height plates to adjust the wing elevation. The mounts are 12 layers of carbon fiber with matching pieces underneath. Notice the beautiful aluminum re-inforcements underneath to connect the wing load to the rear frame.

Last pic is straight on from the rear. Just for gratuitous meaty tire shot.

Twin-Screw. Finally. The turbo is awesome, but I think I am giving up 1/2 to 1 full second per course because of throttle response. For time attack this would be fine. For auto-x I need power RIGHT NOW! I will give up HP to gain throttle response.

Part of the reason you cut the weight is so you can put it back where you want it. Here is the ballast loaded in the passenger foot well. Laugh if you want at the ammo box, but it allows me to pull weight out quickly and easily. Everything is bolted to the floor. Tape is to keep the handles from rattling.

Notice the classy, lightweight shift boot to protect the cables! Also a battery kill switch moved temporarily to "dash" area.

Fred, very impressive car and some innovative engineering solutions! Maybe I missed it somewhere, but where's the battery? Stock location in rear clam or has it been relocated (and, I assume, downsized a bit)?

HeHe. Oh yes long gone from stock location! It is now up front under the right access panel on the floorpan where the A/C used to be. I am using a PC680 Odyssey. I will try to get a pic of that later.

Last but not least one of my favorite pieces of equipment. Needs to be hard-wired since I yanked the cigarrette socket....

Also, as a testament to the strength of these motors. I have been running 14psi of boost on a stock motor except for stiffer valve springs and headstuds. I run a moroso oilpan and an accusump. I use 108 Octane Leaded race fuel. Last night I did a leakdown and had less than 10% leakage on any cylinder after 2+ years of this abuse. Knock on wood....

IMO I am a little tired of all the aesthetic posts.

Quite impressive. I had no idea .... I thought you just stuck a big wing on your car.

Looks like a lot of hard work and engineering.

Fred,

Is that a euro diffuser? It looks OEM, but no exhaust hole...
