Great project - I'm so impressed by the commitment. I still don't see how you carved almost 500 lbs and really like to see a list of the big items.
Is it possible to put the seat in the center so you can eliminate the ballast? I've seen that done to one S1 so I assume the S2 can take the same mod. I'm assuming you ballast the car for l/r balance?

![]() I'll try to dig up the spreadsheet of weights and post it. I weighed most everything on a postal scale as I removed it. I cannot move the seat to the center as the class rules require it on one side. My minimum race weight with the forced induction, ABS etc. is 1805, so I would have to ballast it regardless.

I love how you used the A/C lines to run the coolant up front!

Check out the latest BIG BORE Header from 2Bular for the Hi-Powah S/C cars. This is going on the XP car next week but will be available as a product from 2bular and Blackwatch Racing. This for cars making 300+ RWHP.

In the words of Turbophil "Well Pickles". We dynoed the smaller pulley and the fuel pump blew its cookies. Since I am going up in power, it made sense to put in a bullet-proof fuel system to complement the smaller tank etc. So I decided to put in a Bosch "-044" race pump in a 2 stage system. Basically the small 3.25G fuel tank has my old stock pump(not the one that just blew, but another) that pumps out and feeds the swirl tank. The swirl tank is the vertically mounted aluminum cylinder with red writing on the bottom. The fuel pumps in the top and gets pulled out of the bottom by the Bosch pump which pushes it through the filter up to the adjustable regulator. The regulator has a return line that also goes to the top of the swirl tank. The fuel rail now has a -6AN fitting on it to widen the supply. Also notice that when you cut the fuel tank down to 1/3 of its size, it gives lots of space to mount the accusump and vacuum canister in a low-CG place.

Oh its running. I'll be at the El Toro regional event this weekend. Ran at San Diego last weekend. No LOG, I am afraid. Don't have the patience or gas money to tow 2200 miles to Indy!
