For those that have been following, I did a corner-balance last night. This is the first time since the S/C has been installed. Additionally, since the disasterous El Toro tour where the battery killed me, I pulled out my Odyssey and replaced it with an Optima RedTop. This added about 21 lbs, but I just took that out in ballast. Additionally, the battery is further forward between the front wheels than the ballast. Without ballast the car was 1855, which is about 49lbs heavier than it needs to be. I estimate fuel was about 1/2 full. I decided for now to take out an additional 20 lbs so to still have margin for the class weight of 1806lbs. I may take out more before nationals, we'll see.

Once I did this, I ended up with:

LF 456 RF456 Front 44.2%
LR 576 RR575 Rear 55.8"

Not this is with my weight in the driver's seat(currently holding the line at 195)
Thus the corner balance is spot-on and the S/C only shifted about .8% weight rearward, which I think is actually a benefit to put power down.

Also, it looks like although I couldn't run on the last day of the divisional and ended up last for XP because of it, I tied for the series title and still won 2 Hoosier tires and $275!
Michael the guy who I split with is a US Marine and I am more than happy to share it with one of the few and proud.

That was SICK!!! My Elise wants to be just like that when it grows up.

Hehehe....It gets pretty violent. Definitely tired at the end of the day. We're going to test a new wheel and tire combo with more rubber. Currently running 22.5x9.5" tires on the front and 23.5'x11" tires rear. Were gonna try to put the rears on the front and put 23.5x12" tires on the rear. More G's good!

I like the wing. I think it'd double as a nice coffee table as well.
