JUST SAW THE 2-ELEVEN AND ???

I WAS JUST DOWN AT THE LOTUS DEALER AND THEY HAD A 2 ELEVEN ON THE FLOOR.

IT LOOKS REAL BAD IN PERSON!

I WAS REAL SURPRISED TO SEE THAT IT DIDNT HAVE THE FULL SLICKS AND THE BIGGER BRAKE KIT THAT MY 255 CUP CAR CAME WITH.

DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHY THEY DID THIS?

ALSO THE EXHAUST SOUNDS QUIETER THAN MY CUP CAR.

Isn't CAPS LOCK supposed to be read as yelling on the internet? Perhaps he was excited about the 2-11 and intended to convey yelling?

Also the roof seems to be less evident than your cup car.
Also the intercooler seems to be in a different place than your cup car.
Also the traction control seems to be different than your cup car.
Also the body panels seem to be different than your cup car.
Also the side windows won't roll up like your cup car.

It's a different car.

Regarding the brakes I guess they figured sinse it weighs about 25% less than your cup car they didn't need to spend much on the stock car.

I'm not riled up. Sorry if I gave that impression.

I'm just a crotchety fart that likes to point out the obvious with sarcasm.

Everyone seems to pissed off about something around here.

And just "answering a question on a thread" has become impossible.

They just want to "point out the obvious with sarcasm."

Whatever the hell that means.

It's seems like it's so much more fun for these guys to make fun of everyone.

I'll bet your cup car is nice. Sell it yet?

i was yelling at everyone both online and in person the day i bought my elise. I bet the sight of the 2-11 would encourage similar behavior

Yes the 2-11 was at Harris'.

I have to say that the traction control settings were very cool.

I apologise if my personality causes anybody any problem. I'm just one of those good red-neck guys that considers good put-downs just part of being buddies. Kinda like at the track, between sessions, we hang out and accuse each other of being slow newbs. We make fun of each others' helmet color or whatever. Nobody takes offense. It's all good natured, friendly ribbing.

I just figure all you folks here are my friends, so I can rub stuff in yer noses, and you can rub it in mine. If this assumption is incorrect then I'm humbly sorry. If it is not incorrect, then yer momma wears combat boots!

Start a thread and watch what happens.

You'll get 5 guys in a row saying what a jerk you are for posting. For them it's fun and they get a kick out it. They're adults and they can do what they want. Absolutely.

"Getting made fun of" is what we all suffered from in elementary school.

It hurt then and it still hurts now.

Do you have to do it so often?

xtn,
you're not out of line, no need to apologize.

I enjoy reading your smarta$$ sarcastic remarks.
They come with a good sense of humor and wit.

Find the 2-Eleven interesting, in what Lotus has done with it. It's priced below the cup car. Being lighter and with the same hp, it's quicker and image more nibble on it's feet. But as noted, it's setup to run the 048's- yet it's a track only car.

Someone ran one in a race on slicks and overheated the brakes- given the lighter weight and not being a issue on the Elise / Exiges S was surprised to hear that. Sure the higher speeds come into play in cooking the brakes but didn't expect that from a 2-Eleven.

So my take on it, Lotus left a bit in the tank as to what they could have done with it. Not sure if it's due to cost or marketing.

So, a straight answer isn't going to cut it anymore.

Just needed that issue cleared up.

This is a humor and wit website now.

Got it.
