JUST SAW THE 2-ELEVEN AND ???
I WAS JUST DOWN AT THE LOTUS DEALER AND THEY HAD A 2 ELEVEN ON THE FLOOR.
IT LOOKS REAL BAD IN PERSON! I WAS REAL SURPRISED TO SEE THAT IT DIDNT HAVE THE FULL SLICKS AND THE BIGGER BRAKE KIT THAT MY 255 CUP CAR CAME WITH. DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHY THEY DID THIS? ALSO THE EXHAUST SOUNDS QUIETER THAN MY CUP CAR.

Isn't CAPS LOCK supposed to be read as yelling on the internet? Perhaps he was excited about the 2-11 and intended to convey yelling?

Also the roof seems to be less evident than your cup car.
Also the intercooler seems to be in a different place than your cup car. Also the traction control seems to be different than your cup car. Also the body panels seem to be different than your cup car. Also the side windows won't roll up like your cup car. It's a different car. Regarding the brakes I guess they figured sinse it weighs about 25% less than your cup car they didn't need to spend much on the stock car. xtn

And just "answering a question on a thread" has become impossible. They just want to "point out the obvious with sarcasm." Whatever the hell that means. It's seems like it's so much more fun for these guys to make fun of everyone. ![]() I'll bet your cup car is nice. Sell it yet?

Start a thread and watch what happens.
You'll get 5 guys in a row saying what a jerk you are for posting. For them it's fun and they get a kick out it. They're adults and they can do what they want. Absolutely. "Getting made fun of" is what we all suffered from in elementary school. It hurt then and it still hurts now. Do you have to do it so often? ![]()

Find the 2-Eleven interesting, in what Lotus has done with it. It's priced below the cup car. Being lighter and with the same hp, it's quicker and image more nibble on it's feet. But as noted, it's setup to run the 048's- yet it's a track only car.
Someone ran one in a race on slicks and overheated the brakes- given the lighter weight and not being a issue on the Elise / Exiges S was surprised to hear that. Sure the higher speeds come into play in cooking the brakes but didn't expect that from a 2-Eleven. So my take on it, Lotus left a bit in the tank as to what they could have done with it. Not sure if it's due to cost or marketing. |
