the weight loss is not as drastic as I was expecting... easily replicable in an S240... as are the power mods

For the price, time and headache involved it's not really sensible to convert an S240 into a Cup car.

Agreed, not a significant difference for a current owner. The options that were added to decrease weight are all available to us now with the exception of the seats.

Seats are available from ?????

The cage sounds very nice. If this car is offered in a street legal trim with the option of airjacks it would be a nice update.
