I don't have it but hope to get it someday. I just got my first ding, and I am taking the Exige to Novus or someplace nearby, to have it repaired. I am sure everyone has read the numerous posts about safety, etc. What I haven't seen discussed, and what I am thinking of doing, is getting the windscreen and the windscreen tear-aways. It seems that the scratch issues, etc could be fixed with the tear-aways, and lets not forget Naval Jelly.
Mr C, I'm not far away (Seattle) so if you ever do but this on, send me a PM, I'd love to come check it out, and hear your experiences. Cheers, Trevor

6 mil 3M Film
I'm not familiar with this.
Someone suggested 3M Crystalite and I am thinking about using it on my car even on the windshield on the inside. In this case, it is a car with very flat glass, so I am planning on using the high security 6 mil film. I don't know how that would work on a curve. Maybe it is usable on the outside? They make a very light tint with impressive heat reflection results, in theory. I have seen impressive safety results with 1 mil mylar. A friend was asking about using it on both sides of the glass. |
