Here it is. Notice the tape that doesn't want to stay stuck by the back wheel.

A few folks only did one picture, so I added a few more to make up for the lack of participation on their parts.

The last two are a before and after of a corner. The Sport Elise had a FF 275 package on it. Not sure how familiar the driver was with driving it on a track though as the blue Elise and I were about 10 seconds a lap faster.

Me in the other yellow Elise,N/A

I think every Elise/Exige owner should make a pilgrimage to Hallett at least once as it's a fantastic track.

It's not so much that you only live once, it's more that you're dead for so very long afterwards.

Here's one of my very first track day in the car (Canyon Red) last year. The car was great in the pouring rain. Luckily it stopped raining in the afternoon.

Is PPIR plowed under now by its new owners, or just chained shut? That was an unfortunate loss.

I think to an extent alot of poeple over react with it. If your doing a HPDE, there a good chance that you won't get close enough to anybody for anything severe. And if your doing autocross, then there is almost never anybody ahead of. However sometimes I put it on the side rockers in front of the rear wheels, because cones can hit that area and they leave scuff marks.

But stuff like headlights.....I think driving down the highway is worse odds then at a race track.

I used it the first couple times I went to events, but once I realized that the tracks are kept pretty clean and there was no one to kick stuff up, I cut way back. Mind you, I havne't had a good off course excursion yet, so that might scare me again someday.

The fourth HPDE. I noticed the rubber from the track and from my A048's always blasts the rocker area in front of rear wheels. I found very little debris on the front of the car or rear. The tire scuffs are very difficult to remove from the starshield!

So I cover the side rocker area with the blue tape. Then it's easy to clean up after the track session.

They barricaded the entrance, and, though I haven't checked, supposedly cut a few perpendicular channels in the surface to discourage unauthorized use. It was so much fun coming off the banking and diving down to left onto the infield twisties. Lift there and you'd go head first into a concrete wall. The rest of the track was very safe going but you had to get that first turn just right! I miss it a lot.
