Thanks. It's one of my favorites.

It had just started raining and it was really slick.

Same corner as Jason, but facing the wrong way on exit after trying same opposite lock deal - didn't quite make it as the still from in-car video shows The specks in windscreen isn't dust, it's grass

I'll humbly submit that the first one is going out of the corner. You aren't out yet, but it already shows you're going to go out.

I love the action shots of our cars...it's almost meaningless to look at them when they aren't in motion on a track or twisty bit of road.

At TWS..in the carousel...like trying to turn a supertanker around in the bay to bring it dock (track out thru 11), and Turn 3,which is like a slightly less abrupt version of Little Bend.

You should check out Grattan Raceway in Michigan:

1.6g twice a lap on A048 tires - attached part of the data analysis from Turn 2, 3, 4

What suspension did you (do you) have? I only managed 1.5g a couple of times on Avon slicks.

Heh. I went back and checked my data. I only saw 1.5 because that's what I had the graph's max set to. So I looked at various laps and my peak lateral g's reached as high as 1.7 on one lap. Here are 3 laps with my highest lateral g readings. And yes, I had the unit in backwards, hence the reason the acceleration g plot looks upside-down. (Note on lap 5 the accel spike? That was from the inside wheel spinning and suddenly biting -- causing the car to lurch forward).

Conan

I was running the Track Pack option suspension, with mid-worn A048s. As Kestrel74 alluded to, I'll be changing for 2008 to the Ohlins 46mm with 475/600 & Hoosiers, so be interesting to see how that affects g-loading.

Chris

PS Kestrel74 ....... didn't YOU just change suspension
