1997 V8 Fuel pump replacement???
Anybody out there have any thoughts on a fuel pump replacement for a 1997 V8?
The factory OEM units seem fairly pricey. What is an equivalent aftermarket pump(s) that will work? Does anybody have a procedure on how to go about replacing the pump? Any info would be great! Feel free to e-mail me directly.....jlipper@ptd.net |

You could likely replace it with a walbro or other aftermarket pump. You'll need to figure out what the stock flow capacity of the pump is, however. I believe it's around 50 gph. A walbro 255 should flow plenty, for example.
