Is anyone familiar with this 1986 Esprit?
It is for sale on ebay. The current owner purchased it 2 years ago from an airline pilot in Dallas. I am interested in any history from the airline pilot or before. The car is currently in Austin TX.

I'm familiar with it but only from the last 3 or 4 times it's been listed on eBay with the same questions "asked."

I have looked at it. It needs a considerable amount of work. Emergency brake needs repair, Driver seat adjustment is broken, A/C is broken, I don't think that the heater is operable. The car does seem to run well. It is not as leak free as the owner believes, I had it put on a lift.
I don't know if the engine has been worked on. The body seems to be pretty solid and cosmetically good. I just think that it may need more work than I am willing to put into it. I think I am going to keep looking. |
