Anyone have experience with v8 steel rods?

Hello, i am planning my v8 rebuild, and i was thinking of going with steel rods. Is anyone running them, or know of good or bad feedback?

Thanks,
Michael

lol, did not notice it was in the Esprit section. Was just browsing new posts.

If forged H beam connecting rods worked in a stroked blown SBC, I don't see why they wouldn't work in an Esprit, as long as someone makes them and you do a balance on the reciprocating assembly. They handled a few horsepower.

You could check with Hypersport Engineering in Buford GA. They do quite a bit of work with the Esprits.
