I would appreciate any information on attaching the AP front brakes including:
1) torque spec for hub to spacer/mounting plate 2) torque spec for caliper to spacer/mounting 3) the type of thread sealer (blue / red etc.) used 4) the wire used on the hub to spacer/mounting plate cap bolts I went to move these brakes onto my silver car from a wrecked 2001 car and found an overwhelming force in opposition to my goal so it makes sense to re-attached them in the same way ![]() My manuals simply don't have a section on this (that I can find). Don't know the torque specs but use blue locktight. Sounds like someone may have used red if it was that tough to remove. About two grunts should be tight enough. They are not going to come lose on you. You can also look up torque specs for the size and type of bolt you are using.

There's probably a supplement to the Section JG service notes that details this information. In the absence of this I'd go by the Brembo adapter bracket values.
Bracket to hub M12 - 48 lbf/ft Caliper to bracket M10 - 35 lbf/ft |
