Esprit v8's stinck!!

They are slow, poorly built, ergonimacily terrible, old designs that are ugly., And... they will blow up if you try to race a stock 1977 mustang!!!! complete garbage for loosers that cannot afford a real exotic car!

Way to go, EliseTalk!!!! Full of detectives!

It's obvious that the OP's Esprit blew up last night in a race. Sorry for the loss, lotuson. It happens to the best of older exotics. Remember the Countach?

(or he's pulling our collective leg)

Maybe the other one blew up last night? Wouldn't that suck, to lose 2 Esprits inside a month?

Well you know the old american iron was never known for its technical genius, but it did win a lot of races...usually when everything else broke down....

Well if that is the case Don, then I guess I feel bad for posting that, but he seemed to really be down on the Esprit.

If he is into drag racing , why not pick up a Corvette or Viper, and keep one Esprit instead of two?

might be a better drag car.

I was there when the Esprit blew its load all over the track at VIR. Rumor mill had it that he purposely cranked it to a high boost since he had forged internals waiting to be installed. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that it wasn't intentional since when it blew it oiled the track and got everybody in that session black flagged so they could go out and clean up the mess.

I really hope he didn't have the miss fortune of losing another engine.

up and stay up for days detailing his fleet for the weekend.
Maybe we could be a little nicer around here to a guy who just broke a motor
last week. Don.

He's from Kalifornia? It's all starting to make sense now...
