It is back to the 87 Esprit. Found the exhaust leak. It is between the header and adapter. My question is if a take the bolts out will I be able to separate the adapter from the header enough to change the gasket without removing the rest of the exhaust?

The adapter will separate from the header enough to replace the gasket. There was 1/3 of the gasket missing when I pulled it out. The bolts were all just about finger tight. There were no lock tabs on the joint. The bottom bolt towards the engine is the most difficult one to get a wrench on. Moved the tube out of the way to the gate but there is just no room to turn the bolt. Any suggestions as to the wrench that will work?
