lotus in canada/ counting

hi all: new to this forum:
looking for anyone in canada for a count of running / restored / being restored
abandonded lotus

currently have a count of 256 in 2 days

if you know or have or seen let me know

my guess is 600???

I don't see how you can come up with a reliable number if you are incluidng cars that have been seen. I could drive down Yonge Street in Toronto this evening and you could have 250,000 people responding that they'd seen a Lotus.

I am aware of the following:

A blue Esprit S1 in the Toronto suburbs (not in Oakville, but not far from it -- forget the name of the town) -- running and being restored.

A green S4S, just purchased by the owner of the blue S1 above.

A JPS special edition Esprit S2, RHD, in Ontario (I think London, not sure -- see Ian's JPS page...)

An Esprit S2 in Windsor, ON

A white, highly modified Esprit S1 in BC (I think Vancouver)

A white Esprit S1 with the doorhandles and maybe bumpers painted over last seen on eBay in Alberta

Two Stevens era Esprits in Medicine Hat, Alberta. At least one of them is red.

A white Giugiaro Turbo Esprit (1984 or 85) about half way between Toronto and Ottawa.

These are just the ones I know about off the top of my head. Check the registry on espritfactfile.com to find more Esprits.

Catapult -- I think if a quarter of a million people spotted a red Elise on the same street on the same day, it would be obvious that it was the same car!

In Ottawa:
I've seen a Silver Elise
I've seen a BRG Elise
A friend of mine, told me they saw an Orange Elise

In Gatineau:
I've seen an Orange Elise
I've heard of a red Elise running around.

So that's a total of 5 Elises in the Ottawa-Gatineau area.
