Lotus Esprit V8 Turbo Repair/Replacement
Does anyone have any information on rebuilding or replacing a turbo on a V8 Esprit (2003). From what I can find, it's a Garret T3/60 and the original part is now obsolete from Lotus.
Part Number: B918E0060F Description: Turbocharger Notes: A918E0060F R/B The first 2 turbo rebuild sites I found both replied that they had 'no stock'. Thanks in advance for any help. Last edited by billstr; 12-12-2012 at 05:54 PM. |

You can also try Turbo City in California. They do them. Typically they will rebuild your turbos. They do not need any "stock" unless the housings or the impellers have to be replaced (they are often repaired if necessary. The shaft, seals, and bearings can be obtained quickly by any rebuilder if they do not have them on a shelf. On the more popular turbos the rebuilder may have an exchange program to speed up turn-around time. That may be what they mean when they say "stock".
