Mmmm...so damn sexy.

So to start of the new year I decided to take some pictures. Anyways just wanted to share.

The last pic is of my car along with the famous silver beast owned by gmendoza. He fixed my bent pedal tang which turned out that I was only getting about 50% throttle after fixing the pedal we took it out for a spin and I finally experienced the full capability of the esprit... Car felt so damn strong. (Thanks again Gonzalo) Then I got a spin in the Gonzalo's esprit and I guess its a little faster than mine the fastest esprit I've been in so far.

If you got some new pictures of your esprit post em' up...we can never get tired of looking at these cars.

Can you or Gonzalo put up a pic of the pdeal fix, I have seen his diagram but can't seem to find a small enough hook to do it. Little more info on hook size and where you got it would be great.

I post some pictures later today. As for the materials, Gonzalo got them at home depot for around $5 iirc.

Thanks Vulcan Grey!

You have to make your own hook. I'll take a pic of the materials later. We have enough for one more.

Sometimes when I'm feeling friskee, I just cut the cable and wrap it around my left middle finger. That way when someone upsets me on the road, I just let them know how I feel & in the blink of an eye I'm gone. . . specially at 26psi.

Nice pics Jun. I'm glad to see another Esprit running the way is should.

Kirk, so have you installed your v-tec controller on the Esprit yet? I haven't seen your thread.

For those that are interested, here are the parts I use for my pedal fix:

1/8" ring (3/16" threaded section)
3/16" threaded rod
nylon nut
washer

So I cut the ring in halve. Open it just a little more. Using the coupler nut the ring came with, I connect the threaded rod to the cut ring. Then bend the pedal tang back to the correct position to where there's no more slack on the cable. Drill hole on tang. Cut hook to length; ~ 4". Install hook as pictured and install nylon nut and washer.

Thanks Gmendoza.. I had everything but the ring, was trying to modify hooks with no luck.

My project should be done this weekend so hopefully be able to drive my car again and meet up with some of you for a cruise.

Just my opinion, but I don't like how the photos are dark around the edges. It looks like I am viewing the car through a rifle scope. It is uncomfortable to the eyes!

Nice esprit though.
