Need PPI in Ft. Madison Iowa

So this will be my first Lotus purchase

Im taking the advise of everyone, and going ahead and trying to get a pre purchase inspection. Though I dont know exactly how it works.. Should I be trying to find a certified mobile mechanic, to go to the current owners home to inspect it? Im told this costs about $500?
Or is it proper etiquette to insist the current owner drive it to a certified shop (very far away in this case) and I pay for the inspection?

Apparently its in very good condition, a tune up in 2006 at a dealer, the car checked out fine, only been driven about 800 miles since, and started as well as maintained regularly as Im told... Im planing to fly out, and drive back, and of course dont want to be waiting for AAA on the side of the road somewhere.

Or if anyone happens to know more about this car..
