New Lotus Esprit Delayed

Just saw this and found it rather interesting...hadn't seen it posted before so hope it's not a Repost.

Autocar - Lotus Esprit delayed

PS-For the record, I highly doubt these are the real thing.

This might be the most interesting line of the article:

Last year it made a modest £2 million profit after several years of losses, and that should continue to grow this year.

Statement references only engineering arm of Group Lotus--which has little or nothing to do with the car production/sales part of the company.

I was talking to one of the Lotus Engineers at the British Motor Show last Friday and he told me that the vast majority of the resources are still working on Eagle and that there are many parts of the Esprit program not even started yet.
No firm completion date!

That's not correct. The profit was company wide and included car production and sales.
