New windshield

For those of you in need I would recommend Pilkington glass. I just installed one in my 1983 Esprit and it fit perfectly. Price is right and comes shipped in a nice crate. Amazing what new glass is like to look through!

Best,

Jeff

I do need one this spring. Who installed yours?

I actually met one of the Pilkingtons in the UK, got to ride in his Esprit GT3 as well.

Glass is a little over $500 plus shipping. My body guy had his go-to expert glass installer do the work. All in it was about $1150 including new finish trim.

Thanks for the info. I need new finish trim more than a windshield but good to know where to get a windshield. Where did you get the finish trim?

Trim was from JAE. Dave Bean and RD Ent carry it as well.
