Nova wheels
If you wanted to add these wheels to your V8 Esprit today, where would you go to buy them new or used in the US?
I had read they were getting hard to find, but those were pretty old forum posts. I don't see any for sale in the for sale section or eBay.

I have a set that belong to a buddy of mine, I'm pretty sure he wants to sell them. They only had one set of tires mounted on them (Hoosiers) and he only ran them on the car for a few track days. If you want I will ask him what he wants for them.

I am looking for a set of Saturn or AWI wheels for my S4s if anyone has them.
I currently have the Futura S4s wheels if someone wants to do a swap. The S4s Futura wheels are just a bit smaller than the V8 wheels, but bigger than the SE wheels. If you currently have Saturn or AWI on your pre-S4 Esprit with manual steering, swapping to what I now have will reduce the steering effort a bit. |

need 1 rear Nova
I spun out and destroyed a precious Nova (and bearing, hub, carrier, ...). Does anyone know of a single rear somewhere I can buy?

I thought I saw a classified for rear Nova wheels for sale on The Lotus Forum.
Hard to find any Novas for sale period. Finding a single rear might take a while. You might be better to buy a full set if one becomes available and then sell the other 3 yourself. The only way I found a set was by offering a guy with a beater SE for sale on eBay to send him a set of SE wheels and buy the Nova wheels off of him. It was a crazy transaction with a lot of oh sh*t moments, but it worked out. No chance you can have yours repaired? Some shops do really good work repairing wheels, but not all of them... Post a pic of the wheel damage. Update: http://www.thelotusforums.com/forums...-oz-nova-pair/ Looks like it's an old ad and they are not for sale anymore.

I gave up on finding a set of novas. too damn hard to find. Bought a set of S4 wheels from a burned up esprit and had the rears widened...... now trying to find the correct paint. Been hard.....they are a very bright silver, but not metallic at all. also, the clear is not really shiny......more of a semi-gloss.

S4 wheels were cast aluminum... you must mean that you got the S4s optional USA 17" wheels the OZ Racing Futura Modular (3-piece wheels) and had those widened...\

nope..... regular s4 wheels. Had Eric Vaughn Machine (http://www.ericvaughnmachine.com/) do the work (his widened wheels have been used on numerous 300+ mph cars at the salt flats.) these are now 17x11." I'm had billet 35mm spacers with M14 studs made to get the offset right.

I want to match the original color because I only need to paint 1 wheel. Actually, originality is a look I want to keep. That's why I chose to widen the s4 wheels instead of going aftermarket. They still look stock to the uninitiated.

Have you tried a dedicated wheel refinishing shop? They have to match finishes for one wheel all the time.
If you can't get it matched, you'll have to do all 4. If people can't tell that your SE didn't come originally with 11" wide S4 wheels, I am sure they won't know it's not the stock silver. Sent from my iPhone using Autoguide

If you can find a set of Futura Mods in excellent condition, I may be willing to trade you for my Novas (also in excellent condition, btw) ---- plus some amount of cash TBD.
I don't really like the look of the Novas too much, so I've thought about replacing them ever since I got the car. |

Wheel Collision Center in Bath, PA has refinished plenty of Lotus wheels

Nothing makes an old car look new than a fresh set of painted/powder coated wheels, so paying to have all 4 painted is worth it.
