These are 100% not official.
Auto Express are the worst for making stuff up - but it seems they can't even be bothered to photoshop stuff themselves.

From what I recall the only official pictures of forthcoming models have been hand drawn sketches (s2 exige, lotus circuit car come to mind).

Lotus will never release a rendered photo years in advance of the product being ready.

Darn I love Lotustalk - great find on the above ads_green!

However ... to digress slightly - I wouldn't be too unhappy if the S3 Elige looked like the 'Esprit' renderings - I just cant help thinking that the 'hotwheels' look is the way to go... Totally unique and just like the things I used to push around the floor 30years ago, I like my toys bigger now but they're still toys!

I'd personally like to see a little "wedge" in the new Esprit, a la Giugiaro and Stevens. Wedge can still be fresh and sexy, just look at Lamborghini.

Remember the Eagle/Evora renderings?!...
That is hilarious! I remarked the same thing to my fiancee about the same pic of the 'Eagle' today when I was clearing out my magazines.
