Side mirror on 99 Esprit - LotusTalk

Hi Folks,

Got a 99 Esprit. I was adjusting the right side mirror (by hand), twisting it around a few times to find a good position and it has become loose. So loose, in fact, that it can no longer stay in correct position but instead 'dangles'. Is there something I can do to 'tighten' anything? Or do I need to replace this part completely?

Lift up the black plastic collar at the base of the mirror (swivel point)

There is a locking allen bolt there.

Don't overtighten it..the mirror base is only made of pot-metal.
