Some great driving there...the E36 is leaving him out to dry () in the straights, but he's always right there with him in the twisty bits. Very entertaining video.

Say the title as if you're Jeremy Clarkson, put an emphasis on 'epic' I can just see a TogGear challenge in the making.

OK, that was AMAZING!

From previous experience with in car video when he was close to the bumper of the M3, he was REALLY close. The camera tends to make things look farther away than they really are.

Now that you mention it, I can't get the idea out of my head.

My E Type lightweight story

Elan vs lightweight E-Type

Years ago, I was working for a moving company as a packer during the summer months while I was in college. My company had the contract to move the then fighter squadron that was occupying Dover AFB in Delaware out so the C5's could move in.

I was packing a pilot's family in base housing to move out. Under the car port he had what was clearly an E type Jag under a car cover. I asked him about it. He told me it was a light weight E type he picked up when he was stationed overseas and had shipped home at taxpayers' expense. He pulled the cover off to show me. I will never forget seeing that car. I was in my very early 20's, I'm in my early/mid 50's now...

I'll be a dementia ridden patient in a nursing home, and I will remember that car. I may not remember my name, my family..but I will remember seeing him pull the cover off that car.
