Hey, there's no personal attacks here. We're having a bit of fun but we're not being rude. You had some at our expense. We're just joshin' with ya.

Not sure what this: FWD != sportscar means. Can you help me out? Is the exclamaiton point signifying something?

Oh, can I please join your forum? I noticed you're not allowed to see anything until you join. Are you hiding somethign over there? Top secret stuff? FWD stuff?

You're not all openly confessing your love of FWD behind closed doors are you? Come on, let me in. I promise I'll be nice............mostly.

One more thing, have you changed your mind yet? Don't make me post another 65 times in one thread to convince you. I'll do it you know. I swear I will........really.

So I suppose then to you it's a sports car, despite it's boulevard ride tuning and lack of all-out performance. So clearly you really feel that if you can check some boxes, it's a sports car, and the actual car and experience are totally irrelevant. It's quite a corner you've painted yourself into.

Edit: You'd also have to concede that the Plymouth Prowler is a sports car, as it satisfies your checkboxes.
Thanks for the update on the 2002-2005 Thunderbird.

It would appear that the Thunderbird and the Prowler are both sportscars, not ones I would purchase, but sportscars nonetheless.

"I've painted myself into a corner"? LOL! (I'm actually literally laughing, you're like the Comicbook store guy from the Simpsons.)

wh000p3333f0000king d000? Would you like a star, cookie, or Scooby Snack or something?

PS: Did I ever say the Prowler wasn't a sportscar?

So you're saying that since girls underpants are made from cotton and you're wearing cotton underpants that you're wearing girls underpants? Now that's pretty comical.

Surely you understand more than this?

That is a silly idea that motors and transmissions can't be re-used. This argument is about the placement of the drivewheels not what's driving them. DUH

Don't be mad because you got stuck with the lesser 1ZZ and we've got the 2ZZ

Hey, bud, where did you get the idea that I started the personal attacks on pages 9 / 10 ? I CAN do personal attack, but this is not the time or place for unecessary nonsense!

I put forward reasoned argument in a civil and courteous manner, and where i drifted into opinion, it was clearly stated to be such.
........

I believe that if you were to read it correctly (Plain Queens English, not colloquialism) you will have to concede that point!
You started with the personal attacks in your second post, I replied to your first one with a welcome and a difference of opinion, but no personal attacks.

Perhaps in your second post you meant "you" in the generic second person as opposed to me? I can only write off your anti-American comments as part of the game as well again though, no worries.

I'm fine now though, thanks.

I even promise not to call M100s "hairdressery"

Why oh why do you have even the slightest inkling that I actually care what you think I drive. I'll let you smugly think I've got nothing, so at least *you* can think *you're* right LOL.

!= is programming syntax for a "not equal" comparison.

I think a more appropriate statement is:

FWD = m100 ? sportscar : !sportscar;

Now I'm extremely puzzled!

Sometimes you take direct quotes, sometimes you (Yes, You, Phill!) generalise, it all depends if you think you're winning any points.

Here's a direct challenge, you find ANY part of my post which is a direct insult/first attack and put it up for all to see.

I'll then explain, in simple terms so that anyone can understand it, what it actualy means when the literal phraseology is examined. Just remember, like a bricklayer needs a trowel & a mechanic needs a spanner;- Carefully chosen words are the tools of MY trade!

I'm not at all sure why you think I'm anti-American??? That is a quantum leap by any standards! I'm proud to be English, and defend my right to be patriotic, without resorting to Jingoism. I only ever tried to point out that just because you live in America, there are other places in the world, some of us get different cars to you, but we're all Gods Children.

I love America, I used to have a home there before the ex-wife got it!

Like I said earlier, no worries. I read your entire second post as attacks of some sort of another and already responded to them, no need to repeat them here for pissing-match "rights"

I took what could've been anti-American comments (e.g. "my house is older than your country", which I'm thinking you meant to jab that since you Britons have been around longer you--rightfully should--have more experience in certain things), as just your playing along in the jab game.

No skin off my back really, especially when considered in good fun

And I love England, without it there'd be no English nor Lotus..... nor "Top Gear" nor "The Young Ones" arguably my two favorite British shows

PS: If you're a Young Ones fan, you'll know what I mean when I call you a "fascist". LOL!

Is that a personal attack on chrisngod's underwear??!!! You are really stooping to new lows now. Poor defenseless panties.

By the way, you've admitted (I'll get the quote from previous pages if you like) that the M100 is a true sportscar. Its FWD as we know. You've admitted that RWD and AWD are sportscar platforms. SO, haven't you just, thereby said, that the drivetrain platform doesn't determine if a car is a sportscar???

Come on..........you know you want to......

Say it.
