I'm not clear on the tax situation but I believe the UK has a lot of VAT taxes that we don't have in the US. Here in Oregon we don't have a sales tax so that makes the prices relatively better.

You should of seen the videos of it that Lotus showed at LOG. The 50 MPH crash test was amazing. No damage to the frame and it wasn't totalled! 35 MPH offset frontal crash test was pretty sweet too. I'm pretty excited that we are going to have the Evora at LOG in Birmingham next year for everyone to check out.
