Don't know who makes this wing, but I can tell you that it looks really generic with a Lotus sticker slapped on the sides, so it probably isn't an Evora-specific wing. It looks a lot like the carbon fiber one that I had on my 911 that was from an GT3-RS. I saw Gallardo's with the exact same wing fitted as that 911.

IMO, unless you go all the way & fit the entire body kit, the wing will look stupid.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that wing is from a commercial airliner.

That's the new wing for the GT4 car. Your only issue with that wing will be cutting the rear clam and securing it to the chassis. I have seen one in person and it's a very functional unit for the track but it's really huge for road use. I think you're better of using this one.

I'd love to get one of these wings. But the cost has been a major turn off. I don't mind spending money on my cars but for some reason I'm having an issue with this one.
I've been researching different wings but, unfortunately, I do not know if one manufacturer is better than the other or even build a quality product. For instance, is an APR GTC-200 Universal wing a quality product, or a piece of crap? If I go with a wing, I'm thinking of using some sort of universal and fabricating custom mounts. Ramtin, what are the dimensions of your wing? How long is it, how high does it sit? What is the distance between the mounting brackets where they MEET THE WING (not where they mount on the car)? I have not seen one in person. |

It looks (without going super analytical on it) the same as the one they used on the jetalliance le mans car, though I'm not sure that car was necessarily the "Type 124"

2011 chrome orange : I'll take some measurements later and post them here for you. That unit is made by factory and mounts into the same location where the original wing does. There was no need for modifications or anything but I can tell you that this unit is heavy. If we find a reputable shop that makes good carbon parts and they are here in the USA i'm willing to donate mine to make the carbon replica I just expect a free high quality full carbon wing in return once they make it.

Well the Police here will gladly impound the car when they see a non-legal wing. Would that be sufficient reason to you to keep it street legal?
Oh, and there is a reason to these strict regulations on mods over here. Having no speed limits means that the car has to be safe even at all speeds, in case of the Evora S 290 KpH. And that third brake light is there to warn the guy behind you doing the same speed in his Porker. |

It would be fairly simple to install a thin profile LED 3rd brake light into the trailing edge of the that spoiler without compromising the quality looks or aerodynamics for about $50

Well, I took the plunge. My Gt4 bare wing came today. Now I have to figure out where to mount a 3rd brake light and find a body shop to paint it.
Unfortunately, I’ve been tailgated too many times and have had a few close calls (photo takers) as to not run a 3rd brake light. So, I’m not omitting it. However, where to put one has been the issue. I don’t want to cut into the body or wing as it could be a costly mistake if I mess it up. So, I’m going to have to come up with something else.. |

Nice 2011CO. Congrats on the beautiful upgrade.
Have you though about the race middle brake light? Just find a way to mount it right above the plate and below LOTUS? Or just leave the plate off and "Race Car"
