Very interesting Fuzz!

"Front-seat room is up conspicuously, so much so that you'll no longer rub shoulders with your passengers."
Yeah, but it's a 1000 lbs heavier.

"Paul Birch tells me the Evora even outgrips the purebred Exige S on semi-slick tires."
I highly doubt that.

In terms of lateral G's I wouldn't be surprised if the wider-tire equipped Evora puts up a higher number compared to the Exige S.

I'd like to see one in person. I spent 12 hours in the Elise yesterday and am pretty sore/tired today.

a 1K lbs. heavier than what? Surely you aren't expecting Lotus to make their next model the same weight as an Elise/Exige? Talk about marketing epic fail (for the current Elise/Exige) if they did.

I don't. More HP albeit, more weight but, wider tires and more grip is not out of the realm of possibility.

Can you imagine rolling in one cross-country? Still don't know how Chase pulled that off. Believe he used a couple of those baby airline pillows for lumbar and lower back support.

No post-go-kart stress disorder. No residual engine ringing in the ears. No lingering embarrassment at having poorly executed my dismount from the driver's seat and ended up sprawled across the asphalt with a foot caught in the steering wheel.

Now that's funny!

I can't believe DU is using the smiley.

DU, that's the name of his car (and his plate).

1k lbs heavier then the car they are referring to, the 111. Did you read the review? They are saying the Evora has more room inside than a 111, and I am saying a would hope so it weighs 1k lbs more.

It really would be great if it could hang with an Exige in the corners, but the extra wight is going to offset the wider tires. I really like the looks of the Evora, and if it could out handle a 111 I would buy one for sure.

it will be interesting, because a 111 is a ...what 13 year old design. so how the evora performs will be an interesting measure of Lotus engineering development from a clean sheet of paper.

but to think its around 1200 lbs heavier than my car... thats alot! ...makes you realize just how light and focused the 111 is.

it will be awesome for lotus to have a more comprehensive product like the evora!! i tihnk it will be the lotus defining car... in the middle of the extreems once the esprit comes around
