Nice looking interior.

Don't forget to get them to adjust the handbrake (seems like it engages a long way up) and that you want the airbag cover replaced/fixed (sits high at the trailing edge).

Thx. I'll add handbrake to my dealer's to do list too.

Are you saying that the passenger airbag cover doesn't look right in the picture? I have no point of reference as this is how it always looked, and it's one of only two interiors I've ever seen.

Yes, the trailing edge is too high. Likely, the little locating tabs that are designed to break free when the airbag is deployed have fractured too soon ;-)

This is how mine sits:

Mine had to be fixed.

Mine is good now (like yours) too. The warpage was pretty bad at purchase.

I was told on the 2011 models, Lotus mandated a warranty start date no later than the end of July 2012, so mine went into action on July 28.

Will try to remember to post interior pics tomorrow at the office.
I don't buy the must start date statement. They (Park Place / Bellevue Lotus) started mine this past November at purchase. Full 3 year warranty (then I added to get the 7/70).
I'll have to dig out my paperwork but am guessing 3rd party. more to come.
Update - Extended Warranty is via - Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc. Deerfield Beach Florida.

Thanks hifi, thinking about stopping by the dealer today. And from your picture I can see an even bigger problem: Mine is completely on the wrong side of the car!

Beautiful car, love the interior. The interior makes the car more practical as a daily driver and a more impressive date car.

At first, I wasn't really considering this car as a serious choice because I thought it was just going to fail as a daily driver. I was so surprised on the test drive, and I am continually impressed at how easy it is to use every day. I did have to sit in some really bad traffic earlier this week that had me a bit annoyed, but I think that would be just as tough in any car with a manual tranny. The difference is that I just wouldn't feel that bad about wearing the clutch if I were driving a Kia or something similar.

I drove an Evora yesterday but didn't have trouble starting it up. Is this a particular year model that does this or...? I just unlocked the car, got in, turned the ignition, when all the lights came up, I started it up and drove off.....

Just wondering.

Also, is this car (galphin) a silver or a carbon grey...?

EDIT: On another note, the Larini exhaust sounds great over the stock. A definite must mod!! lol

There is a short period (90 seconds?) to start it up. Otherwise you have to push the special button. If you unlocked and got in and started it, it would start right up.

I think the timeout is actually 40 seconds, but I could easily be wrong.

The color is quartz silver.

I just assumed Galpin didn't update their site. Those other cars have been thier for a while too.

It was taken down last month and put back up. It is also back up on craigslist so it isn't a case of lazy web management.

Buyer's remorse by the original buyer perhaps? If you're interested, just call the dealership and see what's the story.

Wait a minute, the guy that bought this car was on LT a few times. I was at Galpin a week ago, and the car was not there.
