My girlfriend just came in and asked what I was looking at... I said I was checking out a fellow LotusTalker's webpage and she said: "Riiiiiiiiiiiight "

Dude, she's just here promoting herself, otherwise she wouldn't post her link.

Like a trip down memory lane. Remember Madisyn?... and all of the ensuing "leg humping" around here until the thread was closed.

Whoever Lauren Rachel is, she does seem like a decent car gal. Check out pages 5 and 6...

I think she needs a reality check if she thinks a Lotus is going to fare any better against a truck than a Smart Fortwo would!

She's just here so that we pay to become "members" of her blog and then contribute to her "buy me an Evora" fund. Savvy marketing.

I'm always reminded of our male childishness when a cute girl pokes her head up out of the ground and suddenly every regular car guy turns into a cheesy come-on artist.

Do you guys not ever see any cute girls in real life? Is this your first time?

But the logical question to ask is why do we know this or any person is a "cute" or relatively attractive girl? Because that person makes it known. And the reason they make it known is to generate attention which is exactly what it does. Surely there are plenty of attractive females on this site who simply do not feel the need to make their appearance public. So if that's what the person is seeking, why complain when it is received?

I mean I know I'm somewhat of a hotty, but it's really not anyone's business since it's not as if I'm seeking sexual interactions with any of you yet

I always assumed most people were just kidding around.

For some reason the thread reminded me of Airplane the movie. "You ever see a grown man naked?" "Do you like gladiator movies?"

Oh I'm sure it's all just done in the kidding around spirit. I'm not saying anybody here is going to start staking her or anything like that.

My point was that it changes the behavior so much just to see a pic of a halfway decent looking chick on the internet. I can't even imagine what happens to some of you guys if you see a hot girl in real life.

I dunno, maybe I'm just desensitized from watching too much porn?

Well, a hot girl is one thing, but a hot girl that shares a passion or interest of yours, is extremely hot! I'd sell one of my testicles for a girl like that Of course she may not appreciate that much

Its painful to listen to girls who "know" about cars, compared to ones that actually do. Its like guys that try to contribute to sports discussions, but end up just talking out of their ass and sounding foolish.

Case in point, "a custom built Exige with pretty much everything on it.. including upgraded paint and every engine tweek i could find."

Maybe its just me, but this sounds typical of pre high school boy and their car talk. Is she hot? Yea, but that doesnt make reading her ramblings about cars and less difficult. I know a number of girls who know cars, and they dont make statements like the ones on this girls web site.

Just my opinion.

Point taken... But if you're a car guy looking for an attractive car girl, your pool is relatively small, so you might just settle for an ignoramus and try to educate them...lol.

It's clearly a product of the people she associates with who, in her age group, probably are Evo owners (HA, just messing with you ) or E36/E46 M3 owners, RSX owners, B5 S4 owners, with some engine mods, possibly some Japanese/anime graphics, and they enjoy magazine racing, which is the ultimate form of being car-dumb IMO That's not a knock against her, that's just the type of person that would feed her the type of material she's saying.

Good points, well except the Evo comment, , but really there are knowledgable car people no matter the car type. The fact she is just probably repeating what she has heard from ricers or read in Import Tuner is my point though, its more painful than if she just didnt give a crap about cars.

I mean come on, "rare purple lambo?" Not that its a SE30 Diablo, or possibly a Jota from looking at the engine cover scoop? That blurb cracked me up.
