I think he had mentioned before that he won't be making any other parts for the Evora. He didn't believe that they would sell and the market is too small. I don't think it had anything to do with him competing with others. I also disagree with the parts sales due to the size of the Evora community. I believe that the Evora owners will buy these parts if they get the choice and see the quality. Availability is always an issue as well. Whenever we are ready to buy something you either have to pay and wait a while to get it or if something is available, its the one you don't like.

I am very pleased with HK's mirror covers - I made a thread on it and most of you have already seen it - if not go check it out. It was fun doing as well as looks amazing now.
Which reminds me - today is the first non-overcast day. I'll get a picture or two in just a bit to post soon. |

How about replacement CF rearview mirrors instead of covers? Could even do a more cooler shape too....
Just an idea since I had bought CF covers for my BMW F10 but didn't like them cuz the edges stuck out higher all around due to it being a cover... Eventually someone made replacements that were CF covered and fit perfectly. Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com Free App |

You come up a workable design in Cad Cam file then factory can CNC a ABS version for mold making. Provided with all the posts and clips inside the new design housing to mate with the original mirror.

HK, come on help us poor west coast folks out. I was hoping for under $200! Seriously, I'm curious what makes this piece so expensive. It's about the same surface material as the mirror covers, but a hundred times easier shape to mold given it's a flat rectangular shape. Are you sure your manufacturer isn't trying to pull a fast one on you for this one?
