Evora/Exige

Which do you like better?

I think the exige s is more sporty looking.
I haven't seen many pics of the evora,
if anybody could post some that would
be awesome. thanks

you're not a troll are you?

just google "Lotus Evora" and you'll see plenty of photos.

and then do a search here for Evora and learn what folks here think about it.

It's comparing apples to bricks, really. The Exige is a very focused, no-compromises sports car and the Evora is more of a GT, like a Porsche 911.

Which do I like? It depends what I'm using it for.

+1:
Lotus Evora - True character in a faceless world.

On a side note, I found this while looking at Newport European's inventory:

And yes, it's a photoshop.

I think the Evora looks like an Elise stuffed into a Corvette. Anyone agree? Nav, actual sound damping, a real stereo? If they actually release a 400 hp sc version it should be sweet for those fellows who are bored with their new Ferrari California. Ok the new ZR-1 rocks but still....

I was thinking of buying the Evora, but finally chose to get the Exige Cup 260 instead!

The reason behind my switch lies in the idea that
  • I wouldn't like to get a brand new car from a brand new production line
  • There's no family car called Lotus, so why the fuss with the 2+2
  • The first edition of the Evora, will be a GT car, rather than an adrenaline booster that any Exige is and makes your day the same minute you start the engine
  • When the production of Evora will settle in a 2-3 year timeline, I bet we'll also have the chance to choose amongst the following Norfolk cars:
  1. All types of Evoras (Basic Spec, Automatic, Spyder, SC, Club Racer, etc.)
  2. Esprit S2
  3. Elise/Exige S3
So, in the mean time, I'll fully enjoy a limited edition and fully powered Exige, and also save some money for some already planned upgrades and a comfortable family car!
