It's funny that there would be a metric horse.

And that horse would be slightly weaker, than an American/English horse.

Great to hear that Lotus is racing the Evora.

And, that's the best looking Evora I've seen yet.

Alrighty then.... 400 HP!

Man, that has just put the Evora on the top of my Watch list..... I'm sure there's some interesting revisions and upgrades coming in the next few years, and I'll be there!

Must say that racer looks awesome!

I really like the straight side sills on the racer...

I think they would work good on the street versions too. Would keep the rear quarter panels in good shape!

Wonder if Shinoo is looking?

++++++++++++++++++++

Anyway, I ALSO wish someone would campaign the car here in the States. I fondly remember watching the X180R racers...

Soon or eventually, there will be an Evora Cup 124 or something within those lines for sale as a road registered variant in certain countries. 400ps is the way to go. Definitely restored my faith in the Evora.

It's nice to see the potential of an Evora to look more aggressive and sporty.

If I ever buy one, I would want it to look like this.

Reminds me of the GTR, but better!

You mean:

It is going to be tough for lotus to sell an Esprit with a 400HP evora available...

...hey, you know Lotus. They will run out of money to produce/crash test the Esprit anyway...give us the 400hp Evora!

I suspect the target HP for the new Esprit is 600+ to compete with supercars that are already available in that HP bracket.

I believe Lotus should have introduced the Evora in reverse, I mean, higher power first, and then offer lower powered versions, instead of doing it the other way around. Potential buyers need to be excited, especially Lotus buyers who are essentially "PERFORMANCE" enthusiasts. Lotus are you listening, you seem to have lost your heritage
Michael

probably will, of course it would be "cup" like and not street legal...

lotus has made no secret about the Evora developemnt plans - so no suprises on the horizon.

supercharged, convertable, auto(flappy whatever), and subesquent evolutions.

i would peg the first of the sc cars to be in the 320hp range, then as the years roll by 340, 360, cup 380... that kinda thing.

the only thing that would suprise me is if Lotus were to make an across the board weight loss of around 200+ lbs anytime soon.

anyone placing bets on how soon the first "limited edition" evora comes out?
