Evora UK's best driver's car

The Lotus Evora has won Autocar’s annual Britain’s Best Driver’s Car comparison for 2009.

Lotus’s new 2+2 coupe beat last year’s winning car, the Nissan GT-R, plus nine performance cars launched within the past 12 months, to seal a victory after three days of driving on roads and at Goodwood Motor Circuit in Sussex.

That's pretty impressive - 9 out of 10 reviewers picked the Evora as #1. I'm liking this car more and more.

Typical British nationalism. Evora first, Aston second. Can't trust any British publications about cars. Astons are pretty, but they don't drive well.

I love my two British cars.

I guess that explains why the Nissan GTR won for 2008 and the Audi R8 won for 2007 - typical British nationalism - lol!

I'd tend to agree a bit w/ Corvus, after all, the Evora and V12 Vantage weren't available before this year. I've never see a scathing attack by Brits on their countrymen's cars, they're always looking for something good to say.

They're good reviewers generally speaking though.
