The shots are probably for whats going to be released in the UK, so they will probably add reflectors (or something similar to meet regulations) in the future
Thanks for the photoshops Mark A

Good catch.
On a different note, it looks like on the front grill, driver side, the round grill area has a little notch on it to make room for a tow hook (seen in this picture). I think that may look a little awkward with a non-symmetrical grill?

Thanks!
Thanks, that looks better! I'm sure it's going to look better in person too...

I have to say Im not a fan of the eagle... the car looks like its wearing a toupee, many of the lines look like the tesla or elise, it looks like a hodge-podge of cars without having its own personality. Sure it should keep some lotus trademarks but this lost its sexiness... I had higher design expectations for it I guess.

I'll probably end up buying one, but when you take a car and keep it's width but make it longer, sometimes it just doesn't work. Think a limo, same width but now longer. At it appears the front end is longer too, which only makes it look more dispaportionate (sp???)
Who's going to be dripping gas all over the car with this filler??? Overall disappointed in I thought this would be a new creation, not an Elise re-tread. Back in the golden days, the Elan, Europa and Esprit ALL looked different. Now the Elise, Europa and Eagle all kind of look alike. Sorry Lotus, you missed it big time. Should have just called this the Elise -Extended Version.

That car is outstanding.
People always dog new models. I've never understood why, other than not wanting their car to be overshadowed. Lotus hit the nail on the head here. This is for folks that have some little one's and can't justify a garage queen and a daily driver. For instance, we have 3 cars and no kids. We take turns driving the Elise. If we had kids, we couldn't do that, the car would be weekend only and I doubt we'd keep it. With the Eagle, folks in that situation can still drive a Lotus. This car also adds the buyers that want performance and a little more luxury/utility. This is key, especially at the price range. Car will F up most P cars and look a lot better doing it. I think Lotus accomplished all they needed/wanted to with this car - a great way to keep the brand viable in this country and pave the way for Esprit. Lotus biz model: 1. Elise/Exige or Elise type car for raw driving/tracking ability unmatched at the price point. 2. "Eagle" for performance minded folks who don't like aluminum interiors and need a little more space. 3. Esprit for those who have $100k and want to piss on more expensive exotics.

![]() Couldn't agree more. Lotus did "hit the nail on the head" with Eagle but more than that, after production, Lotus will be able to focus all of their attention in making a true Super Car
