It appears the headlights and taillights are always on. Is there a way to turn these off during the day or is this "just the way it is".

Search for the drl disable mod. Easy plug to undo in the passenger footwell

I made the mistake after driving with the headlights on of not hitting both light buttons after removing the key from the ignition. The parking lights, DRL, remained on.

The Elise was also peculiar in this way when it came to turning the lights on/off.
