Evora NA MY11 with July 2010 build date. purchased Feb 2012.
Black package Premium Package Sports package 12 miles on the ODO $66,400 When I purchased the car it was still in plastic and vinyl covers. Seems wierd the plastic would be left on the car for over a year. I know the black package was a port installed option. It seems like after the black package was installed the car set for a year before being delivered to the dealer. My dealer is the listed as the only recieving dealer of the car. And they recieved it in Feb of 2012? |

Keep in mind Lotus lowered the base MSRP by $8K and refunded the dealer for it so in essence, the new MSRP would read $77K. Also, there were incentives back then, more than there is now but still a nice deal nonetheless.

Is this thread limited to the n/a Evora? I'd like to see what type of deals the S cars are going for. For me, it's a matter of how much to spend on performance upgrades vs. trading up to an S in a year or two. I know my local dealer was selling a 2011 S for $70K about two months ago.

They don't seem to have too much room to move. They squirmed a lot when pressed and got irritated. That's when i knew i was close....

I negotiated zero on mine. I showed up at the dealer the day the car arrived and looked at it and bought it before they even had time to wash it or service it. Even still, during the purchase process, 3 other people called about the car.
The story they told me was they wanted to list an Evora on their site for <$50k to try to draw in people (like me) who had a $50k ceiling. I will say they left my car on the site for several weeks after I bought it - lending credence to the purpose of their pricing it so low.

MY 2011, Normally aspirated
November 2010 build date Brand New 39 miles Prem (with heated seats, rare for NA MY '11), Tech, and Sport packs Sport ratio gearbox Sport anthracite forged wheels My price: $61,000 MSRP with options: ~$79,500 Keep in mind, at the time Lotus had ~$10K in incentives on new left-over 2011's cars (Purch. Mar '12). So that took the price down to $69.5K (after a couple of e-mail negotiations). I then negotiated the remaining $8.5K discount over a period of about 3 weeks (again via e-mail). Although painstakingly slow, it was what the car was ultimately worth to me at the time of purch. |
