There's just no money from the factory on 12s and 13s. Dealers have limited amount of wiggle room depending on particular model years/models, so if they can't do it they can't do it, regardless of how long the car has been on the lot.

If you want a cheap Evora, get an 11 or 10. 12s and 13s will probably take a bit to come down.





World Imports definitely makes it a habit of leaving sold cars on their site for awhile to draw people in. When I was shopping I called about some of their cars, of the 4 they had on their site "in stock" none were available.

Yeah, I'm dead set on getting a 2012, So I guess I will have to wait until Lotus starts doing dealer incentives to get some of the cars moving. right now every single lotus dealer denied me for 65K cash and I told them Id come and buy the car today.

Heatfan, if you are dead set on a '12, assume approximately a $9K - $12K margin/wiggle room from the MSRP. If you are offering around this, you are basically getting it for the dealer's cost which is a tough sell (but doable at some point the longer they sit). If you offer anything less, you are then basically asking them to sell it at a loss and that's not going to happen.

To your point, if you aren't in a hurry, and Lotus follows their 2011 MY incentive pattern, you might see incentives around Spring of 2013 on MY '12's.

Looks like most of us are getting a fantastic deal on the Evora! I mean, when people come up to you, they think you paid over 100k for it, because it has that kind of presence. These cars are certainly worth what we paid, the used market on cars.com and autotrader showes the value is being maintained.

We waited 13 months after placing the deposit. Build date is 24 April 2012. Picked it up in June.

According to Andy Graham, as of August our car is the only '12 Evora IPS Starlight with Cognac interior. It is the 32nd of 90 cars, and the 3rd out of 8 Starlight black.

This car has covered as many miles on the road as on a trailer. It was originally sold in CA, then moved to NYC, then Scottsdale.

Funny how there are so many Evora's for sale with 3-5k miles.

I bought my new MY11 Evora S in August 2011.
It was the only one the dealer had, and there were no incentives available from Lotus.
It was fully loaded with a sticker just over $90K, and I paid $5K off sticker.

So what are the best deals percentage-wise anyone has obtained on a NA '12? Percentage is important because $69k for a car listed at $71K is not as good a deal as $75k for a car which lists for $79k
