How much did you pay for your Evora?

Just like the Eliges, values have planed and are holding on nicely. Its good for everyone except the buyers that the values are holding strong. The moral is they were too pricey new but a great value as most people purchased them. If you paid 80K + you didn't do yourself any favors even on an "S"! The dealer will love you though!! Better be a keeper cuz you're getting hosed at trade in!!!

Which is kinda nice in its own way. Second to the looks, I'd say the exclusivity is the next best thing.

True, but I doubt anything's going to tickle my fancy more than an Evora S even at twice the price. The plan is to put 3-5K on it annually and hold onto it for a loooooong time.

There was a '10 Evora, Red/Black, 7k miles, that was just advertised at a VW dealer in Washington for $46,9k. They removed the ad the next day.

According to Lotus as per the various provenance threads, for 2010, there were 241 cars; for 2011, there were 285 NA cars, and 74/75/80 S cars. There were 91 2012 NA cars, 53 S, and 14 GP S. I'm guessing hardly any for 2013 so far? So, if we can to 31 2011 NA cars, we'd have a 95% confidence level of being +/- 10% on price!!

That is sounding like a good price....wonder if it was a lemon law'd car

It checked out clean, I had the ad posted on here for a few minutes but deleted the post when I decided I should jump on it. It had been on Autotrader for a couple weeks at a higher price and then just recently reduced. I bet the warranty was up. That would be risky on the first run cars.

Very Happy to have exactly what I wanted, especially now that Chrome Orange is now discontinued. It is the only 2011 CO / Black-Gray 2+0.
But, I'm not happy about the $8k price reduction that was instituted a few weeks after I took delivery !

Wow you got in just under the wire to get an '11 S. I started order process in June and could not get a custom ordered '11.

I got very lucky as my order was actually too late for a 2011.

I originally placed my order with deposit on May 23 of 2011 for a MY2012. I had to order a 2012, as I was advised there were no more slots open in the US for orders of 2011 cars. A few days later, I was contacted by the dealer who could not confirm that chrome orange and cocobolo would be available for 2012. He also could not confirm if there would be any body changes in 2012. So, I told him I might have to cancel my order as I really only wanted one in chrome orange and I was not willing to gamble unknown body changes. My salesman advised that he would contact Graeme Robertson, the global sales manager, and see what information he could obtain as Lotus was reluctant to reveal much at that time. (I had met Graeme a few weeks earlier at the New Your Auto Show.)

A few days later, I got an email from my salesman that read ..” Just opened an email from Graeme. He offered to take a production slot from another territory and reallocate it to us so that we can get your car built now as a 2011. He can do that for you because he has global responsibility.”

So, although I was too late on my order, I was lucky there was a slot that they pulled for a 2011 and I am very happy they did. I don’t think the cocobolo was still around for 2012 (or was it??).

I never looked back to see on the interior as that was my choice too. My orginal order form and deposit on June 25 2011 was for an MY2012 in Burnt Orange w/ custom Cocobolo with SuedeTex trim & inserts on seat. Later changed it into the GP Edition after factory told me no on the interior and other than color combos, interior was suede/leather combo as I had sketched out to them.
