Lotus jacket
Here is a lotus race type jacket on e-bay that I am thinking about purchasing. Has any one bought one of these, and if so, what do you think about the quality?

It's more a case of American sizes running large. US clothing sizes have been increased over the years. This is seen as an attempt to not upset customers so much by telling them they are fat.

I looked at it twice. First look I was saying really nice< I'd like one. Then I looked again and said to myself, this looks fake, no team names etc. I'd have to see it in person. At least if was the proper black and gold it wouldn't look like a counterfeit attempt.
If you want REAL Lotus team gear, contact Alex Job Racing thru the ALMS for their team shirts. I have those and theyu're the real deal.

I agree that Americans are bigger, but I'm 5'9" 165lbs. When I order Asian or European spec clothes I usually have to order large or even extra large. I think this is more a problem of quality control. Many times measurements are 4-6mm off or more. |

For me, I am just wanting a Lotus Jacket to wear. I do not need it to be "real" other than the jacket is decent quality which it sounds like it is. Thanks for the Lotus gear link though, there is a lot of stuff here to check out as well. |

+1 When I saw the prices my jaw dropped. Quality is one thing, but just throwing you money at greatly overpriced merchadise just because it is "officially Liscensed" is another. Many of the things are 5 to 10x the standard price of a jacket or t-shirt. i'm all for helping spread the new about Lotus, but no way am I paying a 500% premium to do so. |
