One-on-one with the Evora

I got some special alone time with the Evora yesterday! It looks fantastic even when its not on a glossy turntable. I spend about 40 minutes looking over every inch of the Evora. It has some great details inside and out. The interior, even though this was a prototype, was very high quality. The stitching, leather, and aluminum trim looked great!

Did you get to try out the backseats? How do they compare with 911?

The driver seat was all the way back and was pressed right against the rear seats. I'm 6'6'', so my driving position would render the back useless. The passenger seat was set up a little bit and there was a little room. Compared to a 911, it has about the same room. I've taken more than one person in my dad's 996 coupe and the passenger in the back had to sit across the two rear seats which was difficult because of the transmission tunnel. The Evora has no transmission tunnel taking up space in the cabin. The rear seat is one flat bench.

Thanks.

I was thinking more for my kids. Guess the backseats are good for kids up to maybe 13 years old or around 5' tall whichever comes first

You can also upload them into the gallery which gives you a resized version but still saves the original! While you were resizing the photos I edited your originals in this way.

Your pictures bring out a lot of sculpting and shaping in the rear half of the car that I didn't notice in the press pictures. I appreciate it a lot more now.

Reminds me of the first day I brought home the Exige. I sat in the garage just admiring all the subtle lines and shapes for an hour or so. My wife thought I'd gone bonzo.

The rear 3/4 view is really great (OK, I'm an ass man..)!

Thanks,
