HAHA. I notice that too. Its a Euro plug no-less. Its to plug it into the show stand so all the lights, etc. work without using the battery.

The second picture is a view of the front sub-frame as seen through the front wheel well.

What, Lotus batteries won't stand up to auto show use? But they do so well sitting in garages

The plug is a standard feature on all show cars. I just thought it would be funny.

I didn't notice it either until you pointed it out. I think it gives the Evora a nice piece of heritage.

car looks good. my buddy who saw the car in a show was awed by the design. but the car should pack enough power to go head to head with a 911 Carrera so more buyers will consider, so much better if Carrera S

Reminds me of the first day I brought home the Exige. I sat in the garage just admiring all the subtle lines and shapes for an hour or so. My wife thought I'd gone bonzo.

The rear 3/4 view is really great (OK, I'm an ass man..)!

Thanks,
+1

Lotus really let the designers do their thing. Beautiful curves that we haven't really seen in any other car.

Also, the high side intakes must look great from the rear-view mirror. They're similar to F430 intakes, but can't complain.

Thanks for sharing.

The car looks just Great. Awesome curves. Very proportinal..

Tires seem to be Yokohama. Did you check their sizes by chance?

I did check the tire size. They were 19-inch Yokohamas front and rear. The rears were 295s. the rear view of the car is quite impressive. It looks much wider when viewed from directly behind. Those 295s look wider for some reason too. Its just such a great looking car.

I'm surprised the rear tires are so wide!

I was too! Those are wider than an F430's and a 911's!

This first pics I saw were 2-tone. With the solid color the funky door sweeps are not so pronounced. Dare I say - I actually like it now?! Definitely a head turner.

Take it for what it's worth, the lotus rep I spoke to at the show said that the car didn't run because they were working on converting it over to an electric drivetrain. Plug might serve a dual purpose? Apparently they did a lot of pushing to get it on the stand.

Outside......

Sorry, I had to. Odd that the dealership seemed to park it nose in. It seems like the car is almost hidden and certainly not "on display".
