Realize that the Evora is much closer to the Esprit in performance and size than the Eliges ever were. The Eliges were back to the future for Lotus. In the current era, 3000lbs is still a VERY light car compared to the vast majority of what's out there.
Until some of you diehard Elige owners actually drive an Evora and realize that it handles and steers EVEN better than the stock setups on the Eliges...... NO JOKE. Granted after maxing out the caster, black art play with toe and camber being added in serious quantity, my Elise was on rails, but it understeered miserably when stock esp with the always cold A048's on the street. I just did a nice 150 mile roundtrip to my dealer (Secor now that Valenti gave up), first long ride of the year and was again amazed at how damn comfortable the Evora is while being razor's edge sharp the handling is... got my chrome taillight bezels replaced and new shifter boot installed (Orignal was hard as cardboard (just need the little retainer ring to hold it on.... no wonder it never stayed put).
