What items are supposed to come with a new 2011 Evora?
While I have never posted before, I have been periodically reading Lotus Talk from time to time for the past few years. At the outset, I would like to thank you all for your contributions over the years. I have learned a lot. In any case, my interest in Lotus finally hit critical mass so I went out and bought a new 2011 N/A Evora 2+2.
I am getting the car early next week and have a question. Specifically, I am wondering what items (other than the car itself) are supposed to come with a new 2011 Evora. In other words, what items come with the car when the car is received by the dealer as opposed to dealer extras that are provided? For reference, my Evora is fully loaded. Possible items: 1. Two Keys (Obvious but I’m looking for conformation on the number of keys) 2. Portfolio of owner’s manuals (what is included in this portfolio) 3. Floor mats (I believe this is an extra) 4. Can of Fix-A-Flat 5. Tool Kit 6. Battery tender 7. Front License Plate bracket 8. Window sticker (Obvious one) And yes, I have searched the forums. Other than the floor mats (which is merely included for completeness of information), I did not find a relevant thread. Thank you all in advance for answering this question. |

Mine came with a Tom James custom made suit. about a month after taking delivery of my car a taylor called and told me the dealership (St.Louis MotorSports) had purchsed a suit for me. Yesterday a taylor from Tom James came to my house and measured me for the suit. The taylor told me I could spend up to $1500 and the dealership would pick up the cost. Ended up with a 3 piece suit 2 shirts and a couple ties all custom made.
Nice way to make new owners feel special

After you get the car, post some photos. Ron

I got a certificate for a younger female of my choice. Has been a very nice accessory and companion on road trips.

There is no "tool kit" as such--just the wheel lug adapter and a removable tow hook.
Also, there is only a single owner's manual (included with the car) but you should get some literature on the info (nav, radio, Bluetooth, etc) system in the car plus a multi-page flyer on how to set up the Homelink system.

Possible items: 8. Window sticker (Obvious one) QUOTE] If the window sticker matters to you, you might want to check it to confirm it is correct. Mine was missing several details. I pointed it out and they overnighted a correct one the next day. |

My salesman told me I would get the window sticker in the mail. A week later it showed up. He also said it was against the law (state maybe?) to sell a new car without giving the new owner the original window sticker. For some reason, he said Lotus keeps the window stickers and sends them out later.

Got my window sticker about 2 weeks later, after I requested it.
I've heard that Corvettes come with a gold chain.

Don't know about a law, but I had no trouble getting the sticker for my car from the dealer--a week, or so, after the car was delivered.
