So how were the "Lotus guys" pronouncing Evora?

ee-VOR-a?

Ee-vo-ra?

ev-ORA?

Please put this into the context of how they pronounced Lotus as well.

Low-'is, Lowtis, Lowtus, etc.

Believe it or not, that's good news for you guys!

The Australian Government levies a huge tax on "Luxury" vehicles (the politics of envy... ) so a straight currency calculation won't tell you anything about the US price.

More indicative is the price in relation to other vehicles.

At $149,990 it's about $10,000 less than the Australian list price of a totally standard Porsche Cayman S without any options.

If that same pricing relativity is maintained when it's released in the US, then the Evora would be around $56,000.

...and the Evora options are much cheaper than Porsche options, so driving away in the car you really want, could be up to $10k less than the equivalent Cayman.

Does that sound better?

Of course, different markets will have pricing set on different parameters, so there's no guarantee Lotus Cars US will price the Evora below the Cayman, - but they might!
